When my teacher watch me do work.
An awesome classmate of mine shot a series of NO H8 portraits in honor of Zach Wahls coming to speak at my college tomorrow. I am so proud that I had the opportunity to be a part of it.
A photo I edited and shot myself for when Zach Wahls came to my school, Stevenson University, on March 28, 2012.
My picture with Zach Wahls when he came and spoke at my school, Stevenson University, on March 28, 2012. He is such an inspiration! He is famous for speaking out in the Iowa House of Representitives about growing up with two moms. In his speech, he makes a point that it does not matter whether a kid grows up in a 2 dad or 2 mom household. He makes a very valid point. He is a very down to earth guy. So glad I spoke and met him. What a very fine and good looking man he is. I want to be like him. I want to become an inspiration to others.
Emmy Award-winning Kathryn Joosten, who, in a devastating case of life imitating art had us choking back tears during her character Karen McKluskey’s death scene on the series finale of Desperate Housewives, passed away in real life yesterday after losing her battle with lung cancer at the age of 72.
Kathryn Joosten died on Friday Junie 1, 2012. She was 72 years old. She is most famous for playing Mrs. McCluskey, a nosey neighbor in Desperate Housewives, in which she won several awards. In the show’s last season, she died from battling a brain tumor. 3 weeks after the shows’ last episode aired, Joosten died. In reality, Kathryn was diagnosed with cancer in 2001 and has been battling it since then. She will be remembered for the great characters she played on television especially her role of being Mrs. McCluskey. R.I.P Mrs. Kathryn Joosten (aka Mrs McCluskey). May she have fulfilled her lifetime dream of acting. My message to her is; Thank you for sharing your talent and being an inspiration to others to pursue their lifetime dreams.
